Collaboration With World Wide-life Fund

　　The World Wide-life Fund (WWF) has been one of CCICED’s major partners and vigorously supporting CCICED since its establishment.

　　1.Funding

　　WWF has been offering financial support to CCICED since Phase II, with USD 200,000 for Phase II to support the Working Group on Biodiversity (1997-2001) and Task Force on Western China Forests and Grasslands (2002); USD 400,000 for Phase III to support the Task Force on Integrated River Basin Management and Restoration (2003-2004); and USD 35,000 and EUR 140,000 for Phase IV to support the Program on Ecological Footprint Report in China (2007-2008) and Report on Ecological Footprint in China 2010 (2010).

　　2.Memberships

　　Mr. Claude Martin, Director General of WWF, served as the member of Phase I, II and III (1995-2005);

　　Mr. Claude Martin, Honorary Advisor, Former Director General of WWF, served as the member of the Phase III (2006);

　　Mr. James Leape, Director General of WWF, serves as the member of Phase IV since 2007.

　　3.Policy Research Experts

　　Dr. Chaode Ma, Director of the Freshwater Programme of WWF, served as the member of the Task Force on Ecosystem Service and Management Strategy (2009-2010);

　　Mr. James Leape, Director General of WWF, served as the Co-chairs of the Program on Ecological Footprint Report in China (2007-2008) and the Program of the Report on Ecological Footprint in China 2010 (2010);

　　Dr. Lin Li, Deputy Country Representative of WWF China, serves as the member of the Task Force on Trade, Investment and Environment (2010-2011).
