On June 15th, 2011, CCICED's task force on research on the development mechanism and policy innovation of China's green economy held a work seminar in the city of Beijing. Mr. Yang Chaofei, Chinese Co-chair and Ministry of Environmental Protection Chief Engineer chaired the meeting.  Mr. Chang Renyong, Assistant Secretary General of CCICED and Deputy Director General of MEP Department of Human Resources, Ms. Fang Li, Assistant Secretary General of CCICED and Deputy Director General of MEP Foreign Economic Cooperation Office, along with Task Force members and relevant personnel from the Secretariat attended the meeting.

　　The meeting listened to the report of the task force in regards to the main issues and the initial policy recommendations. The task force also discussed and proposed suggestions and advice on the overall situation of China's green economy; obstables that the green economy faces, its driving force and transition costs; relevant international experience; the major tasks and overall strategic framework for the development of China's green economy; along with the main recommendations for main policies of the task force.

　　Mr. Yang fully acknowledged and affirmed the work of the task force's Chinese and foreign experts during the meeting summary, while demanding the report's draftsmen to fully consider and assimilate the suggestions and advice raised during this meeting, and on the basis of correcting each subject report to fully adjust and improve the main report, asking the task force's foreign coordinators and experts to be in charge of English translation, all for the purpose of preparing for the last meeting between Chinese and foreign members of the task force held during the 4th and 5th of July.
