The 2016 Annual General Meeting of the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development (CCICED) will be held from 7-9 December in Beijing with the theme “Ecological Civilization: “China and the World”.

The meeting participants will discuss CCICED policy research reports on Green Transition Strategy Outlook (2020-2050), South-South Cooperation for Ecological Civilization, Rule of Law and Ecological Civilization, and China’s Role in Greening Global Value Chains. The AGM will produce policy recommendations that are submitted to the State Council of China.

Four open forums will be held in parallel during the AGM: New Growth Impetus for Green Transformation and Prospects for Sustainable Development, Global Governance on Environment and Climate Change, Sharing Economy and Green Development, and South-South Cooperation and Greening of the Belt and Road Initiative.

About 260 Chinese and International members, special guests, and observers will attend this AGM.
